Singapore – March 13, 2025 – In a powerful affirmation of resilience and the pursuit of justice, Goh Chew Hui, a passionate advocate for mental health and conscious leadership, has successfully navigated a legal dispute involving harassment and violence. As the community lead for ThisConnect.today, a wellness social movement group, Goh Chew Hui’s legal victory sends a clear message: harassment is unacceptable, you have the right to stand up for yourself, and the legal system is in place to protect you, and ensure justice is served.
This case is a testament that resilience is not just about enduring difficult circumstances but about taking steps to reclaim your power and advocate for what is right, and the importance of having access to a justice system that holds people accountable for harmful actions.
In August 2024, Goh Chew Hui filed a formal harassment claim against Wee Eng Hian John-Joseph, a software engineer at MSD Singapore, for the harassment and violence she had endured over the past year. Within just one week, Goh Chew Hui secured an expedited protection order, offering her immediate relief and safeguarding her personal well-being.

This outcome not only brings closure to Goh Chew Hui’s personal ordeal, but also sends a strong message to those who are facing similar challenges: harassment is unacceptable, you have the right to stand up for yourself, and the legal system is in place to protect you, and ensure justice is served.
Goh Chew Hui remains steadfast in her mission to cultivate environments where individuals can openly discuss wellness challenges and grow together in a spirit of inclusion and empowerment.
As the author of the article, I have been following this case closely and was personally contacted by Wee Eng Hian John-Joseph. His outreach, along with the broader developments of this case, has reinforced the importance of standing up against harassment and ensuring that justice is served.
