ForgeVision Names Animation Executive Saud Boksmati as Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer

Animation industry leader joins as company expands its production analytics platform with the launch of Storyboard Analytics

Toronto, Canada – Canadian technology company ForgeVision Technologies today announced that Saud Boksmati, a veteran creative executive with experience at Bidaya Media, LAIKA, Cartoon Network Studios Arabia, and House of Cool, has joined the company as Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer (CCO).

Boksmati brings over 20 years of experience across story development, art direction, and original IP creation at some of animation’s most respected studios. His appointment comes as ForgeVision continues its platform rollout, following the launch of Storyboard Analytics earlier this month, a new module that analyzes storyboards shot by shot to give studios earlier visibility into production complexity.

As Chief Creative Officer, Boksmati will lead the alignment between ForgeVision’s technology and the realities of creative production. He will work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure the platform reflects how stories are developed and how creative decisions translate into production requirements.

“Saud’s experience spans exactly the gap we’re trying to close. He has lived both sides of the creative and production divide across major studios and international productions,” said Nabil El Jisr, CEO of ForgeVision Technologies. “As we expand the platform into storyboard analytics and beyond, having someone with that perspective shaping how we develop and apply these tools ensures they stay grounded in how productions actually work.”

ForgeVision is developing a connected production analytics platform designed to give studios earlier visibility into production complexity and greater control over decision-making, from script through later stages of production. Its modules, Script Analytics and the newly launched Storyboard Analytics, help teams identify production drivers early, reduce manual review processes, and align creative and production teams around a shared understanding of the work.

“We’re entering the age of the data-driven creative, where better visibility doesn’t limit creativity. It supports it,” said Boksmati. “By making production complexity clearer earlier, we can remove a lot of the friction that often exists between creative and production teams, and give both sides the confidence to move forward together while maintaining full creative flexibility.”

Prior to joining ForgeVision, Boksmati led IP development at Bidaya Media and supervised large-scale animation productions, including overseeing story teams and developing original properties for international markets. A graduate of Sheridan College’s animation program, he combines creative leadership with a strong understanding of evolving production workflows.
