On April 16, 1960, Tony Sheridan asked Eddie Cochran to share a cab ride with Eddie, his girlfriend Sharon Sheeley, Gene Vincent and a tour manager heading to Heathrow Airport. Eddie Cochran declined Tony’s request and the cab ride resulted in a deadly car crash killing Eddie and seriously injuring the others. That is historical fact.
