LAUNCH OF DUT-CMB SOFTWARE: Computational tool reveals Cosmic Microwave Background does not dictate a unique value for the expansion of the Universe

HONG KONG – ExtractoDAO Labs announces the public and free release of DUT-CMB, a high-performance scientific software that enables a groundbreaking analysis of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) across multiple cosmological models. The tool demonstrates, in a reproducible manner, that CMB data does not impose a unique value for the Hubble Constant (H₀), reconciling local measurements with background observations without conflicting with data from the Planck satellite.

Central result:

The angular acoustic parameter of the CMB, as observed by the Planck satellite, is reproduced equally well by both models:

ΛCDM:
H₀ = 67.4 km/s/Mpc → angular acoustic parameter = 301.63

DUT:
H₀ = 73.0 km/s/Mpc → angular acoustic parameter = 301.62

Both values lie within the Planck observational uncertainties, demonstrating that the CMB is model-dependent and does not, by itself, fix a low value of H₀.

Scientific implication

This result removes the main argument that local measurements of H₀ are in an “inevitable” conflict with the CMB.

Both values lie within Planck’s error margins. This dual precision demonstrates that the microwave sky is not a single oracle, but a cosmic text whose interpretation depends on the cosmological model used.

“We are releasing this version as an open verification instrument. The software allows any research group to independently reproduce the conclusion that the Hubble Tension may be an illusion created by the limitations of the standard model,” says Joel Almeida, Software Architect at ExtractoDAO Labs. “We are already developing a more advanced version, with expanded features for the interpretation and analysis of cosmological data from multiple sources, which will be made available to the scientific community soon.”

SCIENTIFIC IMPLICATIONS:

  • The CMB ceases to be an absolute “fixer” of H₀, becoming a model-dependent dataset.
  • The Hubble Tension may reflect a structural limitation of ΛCDM, not a paradox of the Universe.
  • Alternative models become testable on equal footing.

ABOUT DUT-CMB:

The software combines a Fortran 2008/Rust core for numerical stability, a Python interface for reproducibility, a Bayesian inference engine, and high-precision integrators (RK4). All code and data are open.
