Nimble Builds AI Email Marketing Directly Into Its CRM as Small Businesses Look to Consolidate Tools

Nimble has expanded its CRM platform to include a built-in email marketing system, giving small businesses the ability to send campaigns and run automated email sequences directly within their customer database.

The move is aimed at teams that currently juggle multiple disconnected tools for contact management, email outreach, and follow-up sequences.

Many organizations use one platform to store contacts, another for newsletters and promotions, and yet another for outbound sales sequences. This often leads to fragmented data and higher software costs. By bringing these workflows into a single environment, Nimble is positioning itself as a consolidated alternative to tool combinations built around HubSpot, Mailchimp, and ActiveCampaign.

The email capabilities operate inside Nimble’s existing contact and deal records.

Users can generate email copy with an AI writing assistant, organize audience lists, and segment campaigns based on customer history and behavior—all without exporting data to a separate service.

Key capabilities include:
 • AI-assisted email writing for individual outreach, newsletters, and automated campaigns.
 • Multi-step email sequences for timed follow-ups and relationship nurturing.
 • Audience segmentation and dedicated email lists created from CRM tags, custom fields, and engagement data.
 • Reusable email templates to keep branding and structure consistent.
 • Compliance controls, including double opt-in and category-level unsubscribe settings.
 • Guided migration tools for bringing lists and tags from Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact, and ActiveCampaign.

The addition of email sequences expands Nimble’s use cases beyond traditional CRM record-keeping. Sequences allow teams to automate communication that would otherwise require manual reminders. For example:
 • A sales rep can schedule spaced follow-ups after a discovery call.
 • A membership organization can welcome new signups with a timed orientation series.
 • Agencies can send structured check-ins throughout a client engagement.

These workflows are common in more advanced marketing automation platforms, but are often priced out of reach for small teams or require managing multiple tools.

Nimble’s CRM is priced at $29.90 per user per month, or $24.90 per user per month when billed annually. The new email marketing capabilities are offered as a $15 per month add-on per company, not per user, which may appeal to teams looking to manage costs while expanding outreach.

The email marketing system is now available to all Nimble users. More information is listed on the company’s website.
