Sedona and San Diego meditation centers welcome the community back for an end-of-summer gathering focused on release and renewal
After a restful and intentional summer hiatus, Satsang House Meditation and Spiritual Center is reopening its doors to welcome the community back with a special event aimed at reflection, release, and renewal. The San Diego center will hold a Sacred Fire Ceremony on September 6th, marking a meaningful transition into the fall season.
The Fire Ceremony is a deeply symbolic ritual centered on letting go of old stories and patterns that no longer serve participants’ growth. Gathered around the fire, attendees engage in soul work within a supportive community setting, embracing the natural rhythms of release and renewal as the seasons change.
Maggie Kelly, founder of Satsang House, emphasizes the significance of this ceremony: “This ceremony honors natural traditions of releasing and renewing. After taking time for rest and reflection during the summer months, we’re ready to kick off our fall routine with deeper intention and renewed connection.”
The event will incorporate energy healing and contemplative practices, blending ancient traditions with modern healing modalities, a hallmark of Satsang House’s offerings in both San Diego and Sedona. This integration creates a nurturing space for both personal transformation and community bonding.
The ceremony has already reached capacity, reflecting a strong desire among community members to gather again after the summer pause. For those who cannot attend, Satsang House will continue to host free Community Meditation sessions throughout the fall. These gatherings, open to all, provide an accessible way to maintain a regular meditation practice and foster community connection. They include guided meditations and sharing circles, with voluntary donations supporting the World Food Program’s humanitarian efforts.
Beyond this seasonal event, Satsang House maintains a broad range of programs, including energy healing, life coaching, and ongoing meditation sessions. The center’s mission remains focused on cultivating authentic spaces for spiritual growth and meaningful community connection—whether in the vibrant city of San Diego or the tranquil red rocks of Sedona.
As summer ends, Satsang House’s reopening signals more than just a return to physical spaces. It’s an invitation for individuals to enter fall with clarity, intention, and a renewed sense of purpose.
