Powered by marketplace data, the new 0–10 rating shows shoppers exactly how a vehicle compares to similar cars.
Chicago, Illinois — AutosToday released Deal Score, a new feature that gives car shoppers a simple 0–10 rating on all vehicle listings.
Deal Score by AutosToday helps buyers quickly see how a vehicle compares to similar cars on the market. Instead of relying only on the “Good Deal” or “Bad Deal” labels commonly used in automotive, shoppers get a clearer numerical rating. Two vehicles may both be labeled “Good Deals,” but one having a score of 9.5 and the other an 8.0 gives a lot more context.
“Buying a car often means comparing dozens of listings, each with different prices, mileage, and features,” said Tony Gashi, Founder of AutosToday, whose experience as a dealership owner helped shape the platform. “Deal Score helps simplify that process by giving shoppers an easy-to-understand rating that shows exactly how a vehicle stacks up against similar cars. A 9.5 out of 10 tells a much clearer story than simply labeling a vehicle as a ‘Good Deal.’”
Deal Score is powered by AutosToday’s marketplace data and vehicle information. The score compares vehicles against similar cars and considers factors shoppers already care about, including price, mileage, buyer demand, recent price changes, and how quickly similar vehicles are selling.
Deal Score will also be included in AutosToday for Dealers, AutosToday’s inventory management tool, giving dealerships a more detailed view of how each vehicle is likely to perform in the market.
With Deal Score, Autostoday is providing a more effective shopping experience. Instead of spending hours comparing listings, shoppers can quickly identify the strongest opportunities and focus on the vehicles that best fit their needs and budget.
“Deal labels can be helpful, but they often lack context,” said Gashi. “By combining marketplace data with a simple 0–10 rating, Deal Score gives shoppers a more detailed view of vehicle value and helps them feel more confident about the cars they are considering.”
Deal Score is now available on all vehicle listings across the AutosToday marketplace.
