DNS Assistant Launches as the First Self-Serve DNS Posture Management (DNSPM) Platform for SMBs and Mid-Market Teams

New SaaS platform delivers enterprise-grade DNS monitoring, TLS security auditing, email authentication health checks, and post-quantum readiness assessment — with self-service onboarding and token-based pricing.

Bethlehem, PA — DNS Assistant (dnsassistant.com) today announced the general availability of its DNS Posture Management (DNSPM) platform, purpose-built for small and mid-size businesses, startups, and growing security teams. The platform provides unified visibility into DNS records, SSL/TLS certificates, SPF/DKIM/DMARC email authentication, WHOIS registration data, and post-quantum cryptography (PQC) readiness — all from a single dashboard with real-time alerts across five notification channels.

DNS Posture Management: An Emerging Category

DNS is foundational to every internet-connected service, yet it remains one of the most overlooked attack surfaces. According to ITIC’s 2024 Hourly Cost of Downtime Survey, 91% of mid-size and large enterprises report that a single hour of downtime costs more than $300,000. Misconfigurations, expired certificates, stale DNS records, and weak TLS configurations are among the most common — and most preventable — causes of these outages.

The DNSPM category was formally introduced in mid-2025 when Akamai launched its enterprise-focused DNS Posture Management solution, followed by CheckRed with a similar offering. Both platforms target Fortune 500 organizations through enterprise sales motions and custom contracts. DNS Assistant takes a fundamentally different approach: self-serve onboarding, transparent token-based pricing, and a product designed for teams that need enterprise-grade DNS security without enterprise-grade procurement cycles.

Platform Capabilities

DNS Record Monitoring & Alerting: Continuous monitoring of DNS records across all domains with configurable alerts for any change. Supports 28 monitorable fields spanning A, AAAA, MX, TXT, CNAME, NS, SOA, and more.

TLS Security Audit & Grading: On-demand TLS security assessments that evaluate protocol support, cipher strength, certificate configuration, and post-quantum key exchange readiness. Each domain receives a letter grade from A+ to F with actionable recommendations in both technical and plain-English formats.

Email Authentication Health: SPF, DKIM, and DMARC monitoring with 28 alert fields that detect misalignment, policy changes, and configuration drift before they impact email deliverability.

WHOIS Change Monitoring: Automated tracking of registrar changes, expiration dates, and ownership transfers with encrypted storage of sensitive registration data.

Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Readiness: Assessment of TLS cipher suites against NIST post-quantum standards, identifying which domains are prepared for the quantum computing era and which require attention.

Multi-Channel Alerts with Escalation: Notifications via email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, webhook, and SMS. The alert system includes configurable repeat schedules, severity-based escalation, and acknowledgment workflows.

Multi-Tenant Organizations: Team-based access controls, org-scoped domain management, and centralized billing.

Pricing & Availability

DNS Assistant is available immediately at dnsassistant.com with four subscription tiers: Free, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise. The platform uses a hybrid model combining monthly subscriptions with token-based usage for on-demand scans and prepaid alert monitoring jobs.

From the Founder

“DNS is the most critical layer of internet infrastructure, yet most organizations have zero visibility into their DNS posture until something breaks. We built DNS Assistant to change that — giving every team, not just Fortune 500 security departments, the tools to monitor, audit, and harden their DNS environment. DNSPM shouldn’t require a six-month procurement cycle.”— [Kishore Bhavnanie], Founder & CEO, DNS Assistant
