Don’t Have Months for GED Prep? Onsego Fast Mode Was Built for You

If you’ve been putting off your GED because you don’t have months to spare, Onsego just added something worth knowing about.

The online GED prep platform recently launched Fast Mode, a new option inside its Pro plan that shortens the path to the GED test. It’s designed for students who want to move through the material quickly without skipping the support they need along the way.

What Fast Mode Actually Is

Fast Mode is not a separate course or a different platform. It’s an alternative path inside Onsego’s existing system, covering all four GED subjects: Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts.

Instead of working through full lesson sequences, students use targeted practice tests with video explainers to find and fix weak spots quickly. Instructors review progress and give feedback so students focus on what they actually need, not what they’ve already mastered.

The idea is to cut out steps that don’t add value for students who are ready to move faster.

Who It’s For

Fast Mode is a good fit for students who want to commit to a more intensive pace for a shorter period. It requires consistency. If you can put in focused time each day, the shorter format works in your favor.

It’s not the right fit for everyone, which is why Onsego kept its standard course path intact. Students who prefer to move at a slower pace or want more time with each subject can stick with the full program. Switching between the two is possible at any time.

“We saw that some students don’t need every step explained in detail. They just need to know what to do next. Fast Mode gives them that direction while still providing support when they need it.”

— Steve Gory, CEO, Onsego

Why This Matters

A lot of GED prep programs that promise speed don’t have the instructor support or structured feedback to back it up. Fast Mode is built inside a platform that already has both. The accelerated pace comes from fewer steps, not less support.

Onsego is recognized by the GED Testing Service and has helped thousands of students prepare for and pass the GED test through its standard program. Fast Mode is an extension of that, not a shortcut that removes what makes the prep work.

How to Access It

Fast Mode is available inside the Pro plan. Students can find the Fast Mode courses directly in their dashboard after signing up.
