From Setback to Comeback: Kingsport Trucker Launches GoFundMe to Rebuild His Dream

After a career-ending health challenge, Kingsport’s Todd Odham is asking the community to help him get back on the road—this time as a business owner creating opportunities for others.

Kingsport, TN — After spending more than two decades behind the wheel as a professional truck driver, Todd Odham never imagined his career would be derailed by health challenges. But when those challenges forced him off the road, Todd decided to take a new route—one paved with resilience, hope, and determination.

In 2023, he founded LTO Logistics LLC, a Tennessee-based transportation company with one mission: to build a small but powerful trucking operation that supports the local economy and gives other drivers the opportunities he once had.

Now, Todd is asking for the community’s help to make that vision a reality. He’s launched a GoFundMe campaign to purchase LTO Logistics’ first truck—an essential step toward getting his business fully operational and putting local drivers back to work.

“I’ve spent my life hauling America’s freight. Now, I’m working to build something that lasts—not just for me, but for the next generation of drivers,” said Odham, owner of LTO Logistics LLC.

The funds raised will go toward acquiring a reliable, fuel-efficient truck, such as a Freightliner Cascadia or Volvo equipped with an APU. This will allow LTO Logistics to operate under its own authority, create local driving jobs, and contribute to the Kingsport and Tri-Cities economy.
