New Advocate Hub Initiative Aims to Strengthen Harm Reduction Communication, Strategy, and Governance

Paraclete Associates today announced the launch of Advocate Hub, a dedicated online learning and tools platform designed to strengthen professional capability in harm reduction advocacy across complex regulatory, policy, and public health environments.

Developed to address a growing need for clear, disciplined, and evidence-based communication, Advocate Hub supports advocates and organisations working in settings where misinformation, narrative distortion, and heightened scrutiny can undermine effective public engagement. The platform provides practical training and structured tools to help participants communicate credibly, engage policymakers responsibly, and maintain consistency under pressure.

Paraclete Associates was founded by N.E. Loucas, a seasoned harm reduction advocate with extensive experience across academia and the public and private sectors. This cross-sector background informs the organisation’s focus on strategic communication, governance, and policy engagement in areas where evidence must be matched by discipline, clarity, and professional credibility.

Advocate Hub offers CME-style modular learning together with practical frameworks for policy engagement, regulatory strategy, narrative positioning, media discipline, and governance-focused communication. It is designed to help participants translate evidence into decision-grade messages, reduce avoidable advocacy errors, and strengthen organisational resilience in contested public health and policy domains.

The platform is intended for a wide range of professionals involved in harm reduction and related fields, including community leaders, public health professionals, policy advisors, regulatory analysts, NGO executives, and regional coordinators.

“Too often, advocacy is weakened not by a lack of evidence, but by inconsistent communication, poor framing, or a failure to anticipate scrutiny,” said Loucas.  “Advocate Hub was created to build the strategic discipline, professional standards, and governance capability needed to engage effectively and credibly in high-pressure policy environments.”

Advocate Hub is now live and accepting applications for its inaugural intake, scheduled to commence in July 2026.
