Pulse Technology’s Tim Branion named to national magazine ENX “Difference Maker” list; one of a select group of professionals nationwide to be honored

MERRILLVILLE, IN and SCHAUMBURG — Pulse Technology (https://pulsetechnology.com), a technology company serving the IT, Managed Print Services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, announced today that Tim Branion, Major Account Represemtative, has been named to the coveted “Difference Maker” list by the national trade journal ENX Magazine (www.enxmag.com).

Each year, ENX Magazine solicits peer and industry recommendations for the people who are making a difference in the industry. The ENX annual “Difference Maker” list appears on the ENX website (www.enxmag.com) and is published in their May 2026 issue.

Branion has been with Pulse Technology for ten years, in roles including Sales Manager and Major Account Representative.  Currently, he leads the production print effort for Pulse Technology’s Merrillville location. This role signals Pulse’s expansion of production print to its Indiana location. Pulse Technology invested heavily in the market several years ago at its Schaumburg, IL location, with its acquisition of the state-of-the-art 6-color Sharp BP-1200S printer. Production print targets in-house marketing and commercial print needs.

Tim Branion was awarded a spot on the PresIdent’s Club trip this year to Rome, for outstanding performance. Prior to this new role with production print, he had made other inroads in the Indiana location, expanding sales beyond copiers to include both a large furniture design project and AV deals.

Prior to joining Pulse Technology, he ran a print shop for ten years, and also worked as a technician for Xerox.

Erik Cagle, ENX editorial director, says, “The Difference Maker program brings together the best of the best from the dealer, manufacturer, distributor/supplier and software communities, along with other representatives who contribute to the industry.”

He continued, “We owe the success and notoriety of the Difference Maker recognition program to our readers. It’s the willingness of readers to invest time in painting a picture of the high-impact individuals in this industry that enables Difference Makers to carve out a niche. We are grateful for the efforts of our readers.”

Vince Miceli, Vice President of Technology Development at Pulse Technology, said, “Tim has led the way for our expansion of print production at our Indiana location. He is a team player who always exceeds expectations and is a true difference maker here. We are proud of him, and we also congratulate the other people who have been honored by ENX for this award.”
