WISCONSIN — Wisconsin-born female filmmaker, writer, producer, director, actress, and creative entrepreneur Ryann Liebl continues to build an independent career spanning film, television, and creative production.
Following the success of her independent feature Mags and Julie Go On A Road Trip, filmed throughout Wisconsin and now streaming on major platforms, Liebl is returning to the state with her newest feature film, Remember Me, while also expanding her work into unscripted television.
The growing slate reflects an evolution in Liebl’s career as she develops projects across multiple formats, with a focus on authentic stories, compelling personalities, and creative work that connects with audiences.

For Liebl, bringing the production back to Wisconsin is about more than locations.
“It felt like the right place to tell this story,” said Liebl. “Wisconsin has always been home. The people, the landscapes, and the values I grew up with helped shape who I am as a storyteller. After the incredible experience of making Mags and Julie Go On A Road Trip here, I knew I wanted to return.”
Alongside her feature film work, Liebl is developing an unscripted travel television series, adding another dimension to a creative career that has increasingly moved beyond traditional filmmaking.
Her work also extends into the broader creative industry through Light Touch, where she applies her experience as a filmmaker and storyteller to creative development, production, and strategic content work.
