Thailand Content Market 2026 Targets Over THB 2 Billion in Trade Value, Showcasing the Kingdom as Asia’s Creative Content Hub

Thailand Content Market 2026 Propels the Nation’s Content Sector onto the World Stage, with a Goal of Surpassing THB 2 Billion in Trade Value

As Thailand’s inaugural all-encompassing international trade fair for content and creative industries, Thailand Content Market 2026 will assemble more than 300 companies spanning content producers, intellectual property holders, financiers, purchasers, distributors, and creative ventures in film, television series, animation, gaming, character licensing, digital publishing, art toys, board games, and adjacent creative fields. The gathering is anticipated to draw over 300 buyers and investors from more than 28 countries, opening substantial avenues for cross-border commerce, investment, and strategic alliances.

A central feature of the event is the merging of two of Thailand’s premier international business platforms under the Thailand Content Market banner. Bangkok International Digital Content Festival 2026 (BIDC 2026) makes a comeback as the country’s foremost digital content business forum, jointly organized by DITP and five Thai digital content industry associations. This year’s iteration showcases 89 Thai enterprises and 80 international buyers from across the globe, aiming to arrange more than 550 business matchmaking sessions spanning animation, gaming, character licensing, and digital content sectors.

Concurrently, the Creative Economy Agency (CEA) will unveil Bangkok International Content Market 2026 (BICM 2026), Thailand’s first international marketplace devoted exclusively to the film and television sector. BICM will gather over 400 Thai and international firms, alongside the BICM Pitching & Awards, highlighting more than 55 film and series proposals from Thailand, the Asia-Pacific region, and global partner networks. The program offers creators chances to present directly to investors, producers, broadcasters, streaming services, and distributors, opening doors for co-productions, financing, and worldwide release.

Over the three-day event, Thailand Content Market 2026 is projected to enable more than 1,000 business matchmaking meetings, bolstered by the involvement of leading

enterprises from Thailand and overseas, such as Epic Games, Warner Bros. Discovery, Mono Streaming, Kantana Group, White Light Studio, Matching Maximize Solution, GMMTV, True CJ Creations, M Studio, Netflix, and iQIYI International (Thailand). Their presence underscores Thailand’s expanding significance as a regional hub for content and creative industries and as a gateway for international commerce prospects.

In addition to its business agenda, Thailand Content Market 2026 will present a broad array of activities for the general audience, including seminars conducted by global industry leaders, character fan meet events, interactive workshops, and creative inspiration sessions. By uniting business, creativity, and consumers on a single platform, the event underscores Thailand’s aspiration to become Asia’s Content Industry Hub while generating lasting economic value through the expansion of its content and creative sectors.

Thailand Content Market 2026 will be held from 20–22 July 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok. Admission is complimentary. For further details and registration, please visit thailandcontentmarket.com.
