Independent pop artist brings together music, fashion, vulnerability and creative independence on a project centered on knowing exactly who you are.

For Tina Win, the title of her new EP is also a declaration: She Knows.

Arriving September 9, 2026, the project marks a new chapter for the independent pop artist as she explores the confidence that can emerge on the other side of heartbreak, uncertainty and reinvention. Produced and co-written by Skylar Mones, She Knows brings together different sides of Win’s artistic identity, pairing polished contemporary pop with lyrics rooted in personal experience.

At the center of the project is a deceptively simple idea: knowing who you are can be its own form of power.

“I want my music to feel honest,” Win says. “She Knows is about getting to the point where you stop waiting for someone else to tell you who you are or what you should be. There’s vulnerability in these songs, but there’s also strength. This chapter is about trusting yourself and owning every part of your story.”

That balance between vulnerability and confidence has become increasingly important to Win’s work. Rather than presenting empowerment as something effortless, she is interested in what it takes to get there—the heartbreak, mistakes, uncertainty and difficult decisions that can ultimately lead to a stronger sense of self.

More Than the Music

Win’s ambitions extend beyond recording songs.

Romanian-born and raised in New Jersey, she has developed an artistic identity shaped by several creative worlds. Before committing fully to music, Win gained experience in editorial environments, including time at Allure and Cosmopolitan. That background helped sharpen her understanding of fashion, beauty, imagery and storytelling, all of which now inform how she approaches her career.

She is not only a singer and songwriter but also a creative director and entrepreneur. In 2024, she founded Tina Win Music LLC, giving her a structure through which to maintain ownership of her masters and greater creative control over her work.

For Win, independence isn’t simply a business arrangement. It allows her to think about a song as one part of a larger creative expression.

Music, fashion, beauty, photography and visual storytelling all exist within the same world.

That approach reflects a broader shift taking place among emerging artists, many of whom are increasingly building careers outside the traditional boundaries of record labels and conventional artist-development models. Social media and direct-to-audience platforms have made it possible for artists to develop not only music but entire creative identities on their own terms.

Win has embraced that freedom.

Her previous releases have introduced different dimensions of her personality. “Try Anything” leaned into confidence and independence, while “Wallflower” revealed a more introspective and vulnerable perspective. “One Night Renegade” brought a youthful, cinematic energy to her catalog.

With She Knows, those different sides begin to converge.

The result is an artist who appears increasingly comfortable with contradiction: ambitious but vulnerable, polished but personal, glamorous while willing to reveal the uncertainty behind the image.

Building Her Own Version of Pop Stardom

Win’s path also reflects the influence of the different places and industries that have shaped her.

Born in Romania and raised in America, she developed a perspective informed by both an outsider’s view of American culture and an intimate understanding of it. Her subsequent experience in publishing, fashion and beauty gave her another vantage point from which to approach pop music.

Instead of separating those experiences, she has incorporated them into the artist she is becoming.

Her visual presentation is deliberate, but Win says authenticity remains central to what she wants audiences to hear in the music. Behind the fashion and imagery are songs about experiences that are considerably less polished: heartbreak, insecurity, change, resilience and the sometimes uncomfortable process of figuring yourself out.

That combination has begun drawing attention from music, fashion and entertainment media, with Win and her independent approach receiving coverage from outlets including Rolling Stone UK, SPIN, Us Weekly, Allure and Galore.

But rather than treating individual media moments as the destination, Win is focused on creating something sustainable.

She is building Tina Win as both an artist and a larger creative identity—one that can eventually move between music, fashion, beauty and lifestyle while remaining rooted in her own point of view.

It is an entrepreneurial approach to an industry in which artists increasingly have the opportunity to become the architects of their own careers.

Knowing Who You Are

That philosophy makes She Knows an especially fitting title.

The EP is ultimately about transformation and the realization that confidence does not necessarily mean having everything figured out. Sometimes it simply means trusting yourself enough to keep moving forward.

For Win, that realization came through experience.

The songs explore what happens when heartbreak becomes perspective, uncertainty gives way to instinct and the need for outside approval begins to disappear.

“I want people to hear these songs and feel stronger,” Win says. “You can go through uncertainty, heartbreak and change and still come out knowing yourself better. There’s power in getting to that place.”

That message may also explain why She Knows feels like an important milestone in Win’s development.

She is no longer simply introducing herself.

She is defining herself.

And while much of the music business continues to revolve around discovering the next artist, song or viral moment, Win appears more interested in the longer journey: developing a body of work, cultivating an audience and creating an artistic world capable of evolving with her.

With She Knows, Tina Win is stepping into that next phase with a clearer understanding of the artist—and woman—she wants to be.
