SAVANNAH, GA. – The Savannah Boat Show is expanding onto the water for the first time in its 23-year history, debuting in-water boat displays at the newly opened IGY Savannah Harbor Marina alongside indoor exhibits at the Savannah Convention Center.
Taking place March 13–15, the 2026 Savannah Boat Show will feature boats on display in the water at IGY Marina’s inner basin and new superyacht docks, offering attendees an immersive waterfront experience that reflects Savannah’s deep maritime heritage. The state-of-the-art marina includes 100 berths designed to accommodate vessels of all sizes.
“Partnering with the Savannah Boat Show allows us to showcase IGY Savannah Harbor Marina as an integral part of the city’s evolving waterfront experience. Bringing the show onto the water reinforces Savannah’s deep maritime roots while highlighting the Savannah River as a vibrant, working waterfront. This collaboration creates a meaningful connection between boating, tourism, and the local community, and further positions Savannah as a growing destination for yachting and marine lifestyle experiences,” said Jedison Knowles, marina general manager at Savannah Harbor Marina.
For show founder and JBM & Associates President Jacqui McGuinness, the expansion fulfills a long-held vision.
“Since the show began 23 years ago, we’ve dreamed of creating a bigger presence on the water,” McGuinness said. “Partnering with IGY Marina allows us to deliver an elevated experience for exhibitors and attendees alike, and we’re thrilled to continue growing a show that draws thousands of boating enthusiasts from across the region.”
The Savannah Boat Show will take place at both the Savannah Convention Center, 1 International Drive, and IGY Savannah Harbor Marina’s inner basin and river dock. Complimentary shuttles will run between the two locations throughout the event.
