New Leadership Role Advances GCDL’s Technology-Driven Growth Strategy, Complementing Its Partnership with The Zabel Companies
CHICAGO, IL –– Golden Ceramic Dental Laboratory, LLC (GCDL), a leading full-service dental laboratory, today announced the appointment of John Boresi as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. This new leadership addition advances GCDL’s strategic growth, complementing its previously announced partnership with The Zabel Companies, a Charlotte, NC-based private equity firm.
In his role as CEO, Mr. Boresi will lead the Company’s overall business strategy and operations, with a focus on expanding technology-enabled and digital production capabilities, strengthening market position, and capturing new growth opportunities. He will also serve on GCDL’s Board of Directors.

Most recently, he served as CEO and Board Member of OraBio, Inc., a PE-backed dental startup, where he led the Company’s initial U.S. commercial launch and helped establish a joint venture with the American Dental Association and Forsyth Institute to advance innovative therapies for periodontitis. Previously, Mr. Boresi spent more than a decade at Henry Schein, Inc., including as Vice President and General Manager of Global Henry Schein Brands, where he led a $1 billion global business.
