LOS ANGELES — Yoimono LLC today released Makeup Required, the second illustrated short story in the Famous James Adventures series. The story follows an English teacher and his adult students through a week of exam preparation, a Battle of the Bands competition, and an unexpected request that sends the week in a new direction.
Makeup Required builds on the world introduced in Escape from the Lost Samurai, where readers first met its cast of characters, including Hiro, Emi, and Dr. Matsumoto. The Famous James Adventures series is built as a connected narrative rather than a collection of isolated lessons.
