Fredonia Mining Inc. is rapidly advancing the scale and strategic significance of its El Dorado Monserrat (“EDM”) district in Argentina following a series of acquisitions and ongoing exploration programs that continue to strengthen the company’s position within the prolific Deseado Massif.
Over recent months, Fredonia has completed the acquisitions of the Judite property and additional properties from a subsidiary of Pan American Silver, increasing its consolidated land position to approximately 33,500 hectares adjacent to AngloGold Ashanti’s Cerro Vanguardia mining operation.

The transactions significantly expand Fredonia’s control over a continuous gold-silver exploration corridor surrounding EDM and reinforce the company’s strategy of building a district-scale precious metals platform in one of the world’s premier epithermal mining regions.
Management believes the acquisitions mark an important step in the evolution of EDM from a standalone exploration project into a broader district-scale development opportunity with substantial long-term growth potential.
The Judite property occupies a highly strategic location between Fredonia’s flagship EDM project and Cerro Vanguardia, while the Pan American Silver properties connect the northern and southern exploration corridors controlled by the company, creating greater geological continuity across the district.
In addition to expanding the company’s footprint, the acquisitions also provide access to historical geological data, mapping and exploration information that management believes could accelerate target generation and future discoveries across the broader land package.
At the same time, Fredonia continues to aggressively advance drilling and exploration activities across the district.
The company is currently executing exploration programs focused on:
• expanding known mineralized zones,
• increasing geological confidence through infill drilling,
• upgrading and consolidating existing resources,
• and evaluating multiple new exploration targets identified across the consolidated district.
Management believes the scale of the newly consolidated land package provides meaningful exploration upside beyond the company’s current resource base and creates the potential for additional discoveries within the broader EDM corridor.
Fredonia is also advancing engineering and economic studies at EDM, including an ongoing Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”), as the company continues progressing toward potential development-stage milestones.
With a growing resource base, active drilling programs, district-scale consolidation and proximity to established mining infrastructure, Fredonia is increasingly positioning itself as an emerging gold-silver development story within Argentina’s Santa Cruz mining sector.
