ATLANTA, GA — The Daiquiri Factory – Midtown today issued a statement clarifying reports surrounding a shooting in the Howell Mill Road area. The restaurant was not involved in the incident, the shooting did not occur inside or directly in front of The Daiquiri Factory, and there was no argument, altercation or dispute inside the establishment that led to the incident.
According to information provided to management, the incident occurred in the vicinity of 1583 Howell Mill Road.
Management confirms that there was no argument, altercation or dispute inside The Daiquiri Factory related to the incident, and the restaurant was not involved in what subsequently occurred.
Management spoke with law enforcement following the incident and is cooperating as needed. As the matter remains under investigation, questions regarding the circumstances of the shooting should be directed to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
