The iPhone and Android app builds a personalized program, guides every session and connects nutrition and progress, so the only decision left is to tap Start Workout.
TALLINN, ESTONIA / Budy Labs OÜ today introduced Budy, an AI fitness coach for iPhone and Android that handles the planning behind a fitness routine: choosing exercises, organizing training into phases, supporting nutrition and preparing the next workout before it is needed. Instead of building routines or deciding what to train each day, users open the app to a personalized program with their next session ready to start.
The Budy app: adaptive workouts, nutrition and AI coaching.

Budy connects the whole journey in one app: a plan built around the individual, guidance during every session, nutrition support and progress tracking that feeds back into future training. It is built around a simple idea: people should spend their energy doing the workout, not designing it.
“Most people don’t need more motivation. They need someone to handle the plan,” said Ibrahim Ali, founder of Budy. “When you open Budy, the decisions about what to train, how hard to push and what to eat are already made. You tell it your goal, you tap Start Workout, and the plan keeps adapting as your life changes.”
Budy at a glance
- A program built for one person: goals, experience, schedule, session length, locations, equipment and physical limitations, with three commitment options to choose from.
- Guided workouts: exercise demonstrations, optional voice coaching, automatic rest timers, last-session comparisons and set-by-set logging.
- A journey, not a one-off plan: training phases that show what comes next, with follow-on training prepared as a program ends.
- Flexible days: a shorter, easier or different-location session when plans change, without rebuilding the plan.
- AI coach: answers grounded in the user’s goals, current program and recent activity.
- Nutrition: calorie and macro tracking, meal plans, recipes and photo-based food logging.
- Progress: strength trends, personal records, body weight, progress photos, streaks and quests.
- Connected: Apple Health and Health Connect with permission, plus downloaded workouts for offline training.
Tell Budy the goal. Tap Start Workout.
Users share their goals, experience, available days, session length, training locations, equipment and any physical limitations, then choose from three personalized commitment options. Budy builds the program around those answers, whether the goal is building muscle, getting stronger, losing weight, improving endurance or simply staying active, and whether training happens at the gym, at home or outdoors, with a backup location for days the usual one isn’t an option.
From there, the next workout is waiting in the app. One tap on Start Workout opens a prepared session with exercises, sets, repetitions, rest periods and technique guidance. Exercise demonstrations, optional voice coaching, automatic rest timers, last-session comparisons and set-by-set logging carry the user through it. There is no routine to assemble and no guessing which exercise comes next.
A fitness journey, not a one-time workout plan
Training is organized into phases that show where the user is, what comes next and why each stage matters. Recorded workouts, exercise notes and profile updates shape future phases and any plan updates the user requests. As a program nears completion, Budy prepares the follow-on training, so the journey continues without repeating setup or designing another program.
Everyday life is built in. When a day doesn’t go to plan, users can switch to a shorter or easier session, or to a version for another training location. When their schedule, equipment or needs change for longer, they can request updated upcoming workouts. A one-day adjustment doesn’t have to mean rebuilding the entire plan.
An AI coach that knows the plan
Budy’s AI coach answers questions about training, recovery, rest days, plateaus and nutrition with the user’s goals, current program and recent activity as context. Users choose the coaching tone that suits them. When an answer calls for action, such as logging food or marking a planned meal as eaten, the coach suggests it and nothing changes until the user approves. Because the coach knows the routine the user is actually following, its advice builds on that plan instead of starting from scratch with every question.
Nutrition connected to the same goal
Calorie and macronutrient tracking sit alongside personalized meal suggestions, daily meal plans, recipes and alternatives. Dietary preferences, allergies, cuisine choices and meal timing shape the recommendations. Users can log food manually or use a meal photo to estimate calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat. With nutrition beside training, both work toward the same goal in the same app.
Progress users can see and build on
Strength trends, personal records, workout consistency, body-weight tracking and side-by-side progress photos show users how far they have come. Optional, consent-based photo-informed personalization adds context for future workouts and coaching. Achievements, streaks, quests and milestones recognize continued effort.
With permission, Budy connects to Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android to add supported activity data. Downloaded workouts support training without a connection, and recorded progress syncs afterward.
