The real estate marketing firm grew revenue 149% in three years, according to Inc., as property teams look for marketing they can tie to signed leases.
AUSTIN, Texas — Threshold, an Austin-based marketing agency that works with multifamily, student housing and senior living communities, has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000, Inc. magazine’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The agency came in at No. 2,269 on the national list.
Closer to home, Threshold placed No. 20 among mid-sized companies on the Austin Business Journal’s 2026 Fastest Growing Companies list, which ranks Central Texas private companies by three-year revenue growth using company-submitted financials verified by a third party.
Inc. ranks privately held, independent U.S. companies by percentage revenue growth over three years. By its count, Threshold’s revenue grew 149% from 2022 to 2025, from $6.9 million to $17.2 million.
Billy Wilkinson, Threshold’s CEO, credits the agency’s team for the growth.
“Credit goes first to the people of Threshold,” Wilkinson said. “The last couple of years have brought a tectonic shift to our industry, and our team embraced it and made it work, for our clients and for Threshold. That culture is what keeps powering us forward and helping our clients succeed.”
Much of that work has centered on a question operators ask more and more: which marketing dollars actually fill units. Threshold’s Full-Funnel Lease Attribution reporting traces each renter’s path from first click to approved lease and prices every lease by channel. In one month of data from a community the agency tracks, Facebook delivered the cheapest clicks, at $0.58 each, but the most expensive leases, at about $899 each. Google search clicks cost more than six times as much, yet landed leases at about $500.
The agency has also built ThreshVision, a tool that scores how visible a community is in AI search tools such as ChatGPT, showing operators whether renters who ask AI for apartment recommendations will find them.
Threshold’s creative work has drawn recognition this year as well. The agency won eight design and website awards in 2026, including MarCom Platinum and Davey Gold for the Morado on Berry brand identity and MUSE Gold for the Maxwell Downtown Brooklyn website. Its Fairways at Star Ranch search campaign was shortlisted for Best PPC Campaign at the US Search Awards, US Agency Awards, and Global Search Awards.
Founded in 2013, Threshold provides websites, search, paid media, branding, and AI-driven marketing tools for real estate communities. More information is available at www.thresholdagency.com.
