Dubai-based luxury technology specialist introduces made-to-order iPhone DUO designs, with prices starting at £7,497.
Dubai-headquartered luxury customisation company Goldgenie has opened orders for its Gold iPhone DUO collection, presenting made-to-order luxury interpretations of a foldable iPhone concept in 24K gold, rose gold and a platinum-group-metal finish.
The collection brings Goldgenie’s longstanding approach to precious-metal technology customisation to a new device format. Each handset is made to order, with prices beginning at £7,497 across the three finishes. Customers can also request a signature Apple logo decorated with gemstones, including diamonds, rubies, blue sapphires, emeralds, citrine, amethyst or aquamarine.
Goldgenie founder Laban Roomes began customising the original iPhone in 2007. That same year, he secured investment from James Caan on the BBC television programme Dragons’ Den. The business was founded in London and is now headquartered in Dubai, with a London service centre.
Goldgenie describes the iPhone DUO collection as a continuation of its luxury technology customisation work, which began with the original iPhone in 2007.
The gold and rose gold editions use genuine gold finishes; Goldgenie describes its platinum option as a rhodium finish, using a metal from the platinum group. The optional gemstone-encrusted logo is available with each finish.
Orders require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable before dispatch. Goldgenie confirms the expected delivery date when an order is reserved and provides worldwide insured delivery, Delivered Duty Paid shipping where available, and a lifetime warranty.
The iPhone Duo collection joins Goldgenie’s wider range of customised luxury technology, including iPhones, Apple Watches, iPads, iMacs and PlayStation consoles.
