Reggaeton dominates the global music charts, but the market is incredibly crowded. Fans constantly want fresh sounds that break the mold rather than repeat tired formulas. Standing out in this space requires raw talent and high energy.

Puerto Rican singers Heredia and Prizmvmusic answer this demand with their new release, "Violenta." This track brings a distinct sound built to capture industry attention. In this interview, we discuss their creative process, the production behind the song, and their plans for the future.

Q: The reggaeton market is highly competitive right now. What specific elements make "Violenta" stand out from other recent releases?

Heredia: To be honest I think the thing that makes Violenta stand out is the love that was put into it, the way we work is we do our projects with heart and not really paying attention to the market. Sometimes that can influence someone to make songs just for the money or fame and not to connect with people and just tell a story, we focus on the story and how it will resonate with our audience.

Q: Puerto Rico has a massive history of producing global music stars. How does your local background influence the beat and lyrics of this track?

Prizmvmusic: Music and songwriting have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I learned to play the guitar, I knew that this was my thing. I've always loved studying the artists and producers who shaped the history of the genre, understanding what made their songs connect with people, and using that knowledge to develop my own sound. My creative process has been fueled by learning from the pioneering artists and producers who came before me. At the end of the day, my roots are always present in every beat and in every lyric I write.

Q: Working together brings different strengths to the studio. How did you balance your individual styles while recording the song?

Heredia: I feel like we balance our styles so effectively because we’ve been making music together for more than 6 years. That alone lets us blend our ideas and visions together seamlessly, making every project unique and special.

Prizmvmusic: From the start we were clear about what we wanted to transmit through this song. We always seek to mix modern and fresh sounds with the essence of classic reggaeton. Everything flowed very naturally because we both understood the vision of the song and we wanted that, from the moment the beat started, people felt the same energy that we experienced inside the studio when creating this song.

Q: Marketing a new track takes serious effort. How are you handling the business and promotion side of this launch?

Heredia: Most of the business and promotions are handled by our team. It all started as a group of friends that believed in the vision and decided to be part of this project. Now each brings their expertise to lead the business side of the project.

Q: Club tracks rely heavily on audience energy. What exact reaction do you want listeners to have when they hear this for the first time?

Prizmvmusic: The best thing about this collaboration is that each one brings something different and that makes everything fit. We've been making music together for years and there's already a trust that makes ideas flow on their own. I focus on the music and help develop vocal melodies, while Heredia gets fully into the lyrics, helping in the arrangements and all those details that end up taking the song to another level. What we want is for people to hear the first beat and instantly be motivated to keep listening.

Q: People say this song will grab the industry's attention quickly. What are your main goals for the next six months?

Heredia: My goals for the next six months are to continue to grow, improve, release and build a stronger catalog. We’ve been getting our calendar ready for more live shows, presentations and interviews. I'm working on an album right now so I hope to release it in the next few months.

Prizmvmusic: My focus is on continuing to work. I want to keep releasing music, constantly creating content, and keep growing as an artist and producer. The goal is for more and more people to know who Prizmv Music is and to demonstrate with facts everything I have to offer.

This discussion shows the tight focus required to launch a track in today's music market. Heredia and Prizmvmusic highlight the need to mix authentic cultural roots with modern studio production. Their teamwork proves that combining different skills leads to a stronger song.

The global demand for high-energy reggaeton will keep growing. Tracks like "Violenta" provide the exact sound fans want. Heredia and Prizmvmusic have built a strong foundation to expand their music careers.
