Newly established organization aims to unify standards and provide global accreditation for marketers, institutions, and training centers.
The International Marketing Board (IMB) has officially launched as an independent global body focused on setting professional standards in marketing and accrediting practitioners, companies, and educational institutions worldwide.
The IMB was established in the United States with a mission to bring clarity, credibility, and transparency to the marketing profession. By introducing standardized accreditation and certification systems, the organization seeks to reduce market fragmentation and ensure that individuals and organizations meet recognized quality benchmarks.
According to its founders, the IMB will accredit individual marketers, marketing agencies, and training centers offering marketing-related programs. This approach is designed to guarantee that professional training and services adhere to globally recognized standards.
“Our vision is to build a unified framework where marketing professionals can earn recognition that is respected across borders,” said a spokesperson for the International Marketing Board. “We are also committed to partnering with professional associations in different countries to harmonize accreditation criteria and improve accountability within the industry.”
Looking ahead, the IMB plans to sign cooperation agreements with professional bodies and trade associations in multiple regions, creating a broader international coalition for marketing accreditation.
