The International Peace Commission (IPC) hosted a historic celebration of the United Nations International Day of Peace in Dallas, Texas. The evening combined cultural performances, poetry, and dialogue with a landmark moment — the launch of the Mashup 102 Radio Network, a multicultural digital platform dedicated to unity and harmony. Guests also took part in a moving Peace Pledge Singing Ceremony, affirming their shared commitment to global peace.
The program opened with a Unity & Harmony Dance by Neha Paul, followed by welcoming remarks from H.E. Prince Hassan, Ambassador & World Chairman of IPC and Founder of Mashup 102 Radio Network. He reminded attendees:
“Peace is the essence of life, and peace begins with us—through every word we speak, every hand we extend, and every rhythm we share.”
A centerpiece of the event was the Peace Pledge Singing Ceremony, where all participants sang and signed a pledge to uphold peace, symbolizing collective commitment to harmony across borders.
The cultural showcase featured an impressive lineup: singers Sanjna Tyagi, Abdul Ahad Khan, Anu Damodaran, Priya Gopi, Probir Shah, Bashir Bakhtiari, and Kumail Ali; harmonica by Harshad Patel; poetry by Dr. Hameed Sheikh and Dr. Saleha Suleman; and inspiring talks by Sudha Jagannath and Zahid Syed. The evening was skillfully hosted by Swati Tiwari, who also performed as a singer and co-hosted by Rupal Mohan
The event also introduced the Mashup 102 Radio Network’s three Stations:
- Mashup 102 (Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi)
- Mashup 102.1 (English global programming)
- Mashup 102 Zen (wellness, meditation, and mindfulness)
H.E. Prince Hassan announced Additionally, IPC’s Arts & Culture Division will be organizing a series of cultural events, competitions, talent hunts, campaigns, and wellness workshops and sessions — designed to bring people together, promote intercultural harmony, and create opportunities for youth and communities to engage positively in the spirit of peace.
Event Continued with Interactive activities included peace trivia, live radio demos, and community reflections, closing with certificates of appreciation for contributors and sponsors.
In his concluding remarks, H.E Prince Hassan reflected:
“Every performance, every volunteer, and every guest was part of a larger movement—one that invites all of us to unite under the mission of peace.”
