Her professional trajectory reflects deep operational leadership from positions held as Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist (Magic Leap), Regulatory Affairs Officer (Traatek and OMT), Quality Assurance Manager (Celsius) to Vice President and Head of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance (Co-Diagnostics), allowed her to apply her legal acumen and compliance skills within the technology sector. Currently, Ms. Robinson has held the position of Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist at a biomedical company since 2024.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Robinson contributed as a United Nations delegate for the Commission on the Status of Women through the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom between 2014 and 2016. During that time, Ms. Robinson founded and operated a consulting and development practice, providing strategic guidance and project leadership. Her professional foundation is built upon a comprehensive legal background, having earned experience within a variety of industries.
Ms. Robinson’s legal career began after earning a law degree when she worked at Brown & Stanley PC in Detroit from 2002 to 2003 before serving in a prosecutorial role, by the age of 25, in the City Attorney’s Office under the direction and leadership of then Acting City Attorney Karen L. Folks for the City of Flint, Michigan between 2003 and 2004. She previously completed a judicial externship with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in Detroit in 2002 under the leadership and mentorship of the Late Hon. U.S. District Judge Avern L. Cohn after gaining early experience as a legislative intern for Former State Representative Jim Howell (Republican) with the Michigan House of Representatives and as a student attorney at the Sixty Plus Elder Law Clinic at Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, during 2001.
A significant portion of Ms. Robinson’s professional journey has also been dedicated to teaching. Since 2003, she has worked as an associate professor-lecturer for various institutions. She entered online education at Kaplan University in 2005 during its formative years, quickly advancing from modest beginnings to earning an unprecedented six figures in less than 3 years while teaching for multiple schools simultaneously. Ms. Robinson’s success in this field outpaced many peers who remained in traditional legal careers. Ms. Robinson’s expertise remains in high demand for teaching and mentorship. Today, while she no longer works for multiple schools, she selectively partners exclusively with academic programs and institutions that align with her core values.
Ms. Robinson’s academic credentials are extensive and have played a pivotal role throughout her career trajectory. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science, cum laude, on a full music scholarship by age 20, and later received a Master of Arts in history from Jackson State University. From there, Ms. Robinson acquired a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Cooley Law School by age 24, a Master of Laws (LLM) in transnational law from Willamette University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in international management and marketing from Northeastern University. She also received credentials as a certified Six Sigma master black belt, underscoring her commitment to operational excellence.
In 2017, Ms. Robinson delivered a TEDx talk in Portland entitled “Your Narrative is Your Super Power,” encouraging others through her personal journey. Equally noteworthy has been her civic engagement. She currently serves on the board of the Society of Presidential Historians in Academia (SOPHIA). She also maintains membership with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., continuing a family legacy begun by her grandmother, as well as supporting diabetes research causes in honor of her mother, contributing to brain tumor awareness and advocacy as well as Sjögren’s disease research and advocacy following her recent diagnosis with the autoimmune condition. Locally, she participates in community advocacy efforts for low-income families through an active meetup group.
Creatively, Ms. Robinson has built an impressive portfolio as an author under the pen name Bea Giovanni and now as a first time screenwriter. Her works include “Bernice Rathe,” which spans a fictional novel, comic book series and screenplay, “Ebony and Ella,” a children’s book series, and over 100 television and film unpublished scripts currently under review by literary agents and producers interested in expanding several of these scripts and characters into broader creative universes. Ms. Robinson has appeared at comic conventions promoting her fictional novel and comic book adaptations.
Among numerous honors received throughout Ms. Robinson’s career are 3 Excellence in Teaching Awards between 2008 and 2010, and recognition as a U.N. delegate for the Commission on the Status of Women through WILPF from 2014 to 2015. She was also recognized as a finalist for both the Oxford Script Awards and Cambridge Script Awards in 2026 and received quarterfinalist placements in other major screenwriting competitions. More recently, under Ms. Robinson’s leadership, Zebra MedNex was nominated for an Edison Award in 2026, reflecting its potential impact alongside established platforms.
