Independent B2B platform in development will bring nationwide supplier discovery, intelligent fitment guidance, and purchasing workflows together for repair shops.
KANSAS CITY, MO — Finding the right used auto part can be one of the most frustrating and time-consuming tasks for automotive repair shops. Searching multiple websites, calling suppliers, confirming compatibility, comparing warranties and waiting for quotes can slow down repairs and keep vehicles occupying valuable service bays. PartsFlow™ is being developed to change that.
PartsFlow™ today announced plans for an independent, AI-powered business platform designed specifically for automotive repair shops. Expected to launch in early 2027, the platform aims to bring parts sourcing, supplier communications, purchasing and warranty management together in one place. Early-access registration is now open at partsflow.io.
Less Time Searching & Calling. More Cars Out the Door.
Finding the Right Part Shouldn’t Be So Complicated
Consider a repair shop looking for a replacement engine for a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. Today, that search might involve several supplier websites, multiple phone calls and hours comparing engines with different mileage, prices, warranties and delivery schedules. Even after locating an engine, the shop must verify that it fits the vehicle.
With PartsFlow™, the goal is to simplify that process. A service advisor could ask Ask Hank™, the platform’s AI-powered automotive assistant: “Hank, find me a replacement engine for a 2018 Chevy Silverado.” Hank is being designed to guide the user through VIN and fitment checks, help locate compatible parts from participating suppliers and compare options by mileage, price, warranty, supplier history and delivery.
Rather than simply returning a list of parts, Hank is intended to help repair professionals evaluate overall value for each repair.
More Than a Parts Search Engine
The planned platform combines five steps in a connected workflow: identify the vehicle and part, search across suppliers, compare available options, connect directly with sellers, and manage the transaction. Shops will be able to keep quotes, messages, orders, deliveries, returns and warranty-related tickets organized around the job rather than scattered across calls, emails and separate systems.
Ask Hank™ is being developed with natural voice and chat interactions, VIN decoding, interchange and fitment assistance, and recommendations that consider factors beyond price alone. Additional AI capabilities under development include sound-based diagnostic assistance and Impact Intelligence™, which is intended to assess potential accident-related risks to recycled parts using available donor-vehicle photos and history. These capabilities are planned features, not currently available production services.
Independent by Design
PartsFlow™ is intended to serve as an independent, supplier-neutral business platform, connecting repair shops with participating auto parts suppliers rather than limiting them to one inventory source. Its goal is to give shops clearer choices while helping suppliers communicate and transact more efficiently.
PartsFlow™ is being developed by the team behind Automotix®, drawing on more than 20 years of experience in automotive parts e-commerce and supplier relationships. That industry experience informs a practical focus on fitment accuracy, purchasing efficiency, supplier communication and post-sale support.
Early Access Now Open
PartsFlow™ is targeting an early 2027 launch. Repair shops and auto parts suppliers interested in learning more or joining the early-access program can visit partsflow.io. Features described in this announcement are in development and may change before general availability.
