CountriesDB combines a developer-focused API with embeddable widgets to simplify country and region selection across international applications.
Geographic data is one of those things every global application depends on, yet it’s often stitched together from inconsistent sources — Founder, NAYEE LLC
SHERIDAN, WY, UNITED STATES — NAYEE LLC has announced the release of CountriesDB, a new developer-oriented platform designed to deliver accurate and standardized country and administrative subdivision data for globally deployed software products.
Built around the ISO 3166-1 and ISO 3166-2 standards, CountriesDB provides structured information covering countries as well as their internal administrative divisions, including states, provinces, and regions. The platform is offered through a modern API and a set of lightweight, framework-independent widgets that can be embedded directly into web applications and online forms.
Unlike static country lists or hard-coded datasets, CountriesDB is designed to handle real-world complexity. This includes correct treatment of territories and special cases, such as U.S. territories like Guam, which are frequently misclassified or duplicated across commonly used data sources. The platform also supports countries with multi-layered administrative hierarchies, ensuring consistency across regions with complex governance structures.
A core component of CountriesDB is its localization support. The embedded widgets include translations in more than 50 languages, allowing developers to implement globally localized country and subdivision selection without maintaining separate translation logic or custom datasets. This enables teams to deliver consistent user experiences across markets with minimal engineering effort.
“Geographic data is something every global application depends on, yet it is often assembled from inconsistent sources,” said the founder of NAYEE LLC. “We built CountriesDB to be reliable by design and simple to integrate, so teams can focus on their product instead of maintaining country data.”
The platform is designed with long-term scalability in mind. Its structured identifiers, standardized codes, and localization-ready data model make it suitable for a wide range of use cases, including SaaS platforms, fintech products, e-commerce systems, travel applications, and other software operating across multiple jurisdictions.
The release of CountriesDB represents the first product launch in NAYEE’s broader roadmap of developer-focused data services. The company plans to expand the platform with additional datasets and tooling aimed at reducing friction when building internationally scalable software.
CountriesDB is available immediately, with full documentation and integration guides accessible through the official website.
