NIPA Showcases Korea’s AI Device Technologies at ‘IFA Berlin 2026’

The National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) hosted the “K-AI Semiconductor Media
Day & Networking Reception” on September 4 (Friday) at the Funkturm Lounge in Messe
Berlin, the venue for IFA Berlin 2026, introducing the technologies and products of Korean AI
transformation (AX) devices developed using Korean AI semiconductors to leading German
and European media.

The K-AI Semiconductor Pavilion was organized to showcase, in one place, Korean AX
devices that implement AI functions on the device itself based on AI semiconductors such as
Korean NPUs. It also announced the project’s aim of supporting the advancement of devices
and the development of AI services using Korean AI semiconductors, and creating new
markets through cooperation between Korean device companies and technology suppliers.
The pavilion is located at Hall 5.2b, Booth 400 at the IFA 2026 venue, and exhibits products
and technologies from six participating companies: ▲CUCKOO Homesys’s “AI Barista

Water Purifier” ▲NEXREAL’s “AI Mission Camera for Drones” ▲analogue plus’s “AI Smart
Helmet” ▲P&C Solution’s “METALENSE” AR glasses ▲RhinOS’s “A10 Commercial
Cleaning Robot” ▲RobotWare.AI’s “Robotinside-RW150i Poultry Management Robot.”

□ In conjunction with this, “K-AI Semiconductor Media Day” was held on September 4 at the
Funkturm Lounge in Messe Berlin. The event invited leading journalists from Germany and
Europe covering IT, AI and robotics to introduce the innovative technologies and distinctive
features of Korean AX devices, and to support the building of overseas media networks and
global publicity. At this “K-AI Semiconductor Media Day,” five companies – NEXREAL, P&C
Solution, RobotWare.AI, RhinOS and analogue plus – presented their AI-based devices and
core technologies and held a Q&A session with journalists.

ㅇ P&C Solution unveiled “METALENSE,” Optical See-Through AR glasses that support
digital transformation in industrial settings. It allows users to check digital information while
viewing the actual surrounding environment, and supports hands-free work, real-time
information delivery, and voice and gesture interaction. Building on METALENSE, P&C
Solution is developing a next-generation AR device that combines on-device AI technology,
and plans to expand its use into manufacturing, logistics, maintenance and other industrial
settings. At IFA, visitors can try on METALENSE directly to experience key AR features such
as 3D content visualization, video playback and remote collaboration, and get a preview of
the development direction for future products that will incorporate on-device AI.

ㅇ RobotWare.AI introduced “Robotinside-RW150i,” an AI-based autonomous smart-farm
robot platform for automating and enabling intelligent operation of poultry farms.
It combines AI vision, autonomous driving and robot control technologies to analyze
livestock behavior and abnormal situations, and automates repetitive farm tasks such as
detecting and collecting dead birds and floor eggs. It also presented a structure that
processes data in real time on-site through K-NPU-based on-device AI and connects AI
analysis results to the robot’s actual operations. At IFA, the company demonstrates the
entire process directly, from egg recognition and location display to automatic collection
using a robot gripper.

ㅇ NEXREAL introduced an AI mission camera for drones and vision AI technology based
on Korean AI semiconductors. The system uses EO/IR cameras and laser range finding
(LRF) technology to analyze on-site information in real time, and supports object detection,
geolocation, automatic object tracking, license plate recognition and abnormal-situation
recognition. In particular, it presented the potential of AI-based drones in fields requiring real-
time on-site response, such as security and public safety. At IFA, the company demonstrates
functions such as object detection, coordinate acquisition and automatic tracking in
conjunction with gimbal camera control software.

ㅇ RhinOS introduced “A10,” a commercial cleaning robot equipped with the DEEPER-I
NPU. Its AI camera detects thin, irregular obstacles that are difficult to recognize with
sensors alone, and generates them as a Virtual No-Go Zone that is delivered to the robot’s
navigation system to support safe avoidance driving. RhinOS integrated AI technology

directly into the A10 to verify the potential for obstacle recognition in commercial facilities,
and developed the A10 – equipped with sweeping, vacuuming and mopping functions – for
use in a variety of commercial spaces such as offices, hotels, hospitals and stores.

ㅇ analogue plus presented the “AI Smart Helmet,” which supports police motorcycle patrol
duties. Using front and rear cameras and AI technology, it recognizes surrounding vehicles
and license plates in real time while riding, and delivers the lookup results by voice through a
speaker inside the helmet. In particular, it applied an on-device AI structure that processes
video analysis and license plate recognition inside the device itself, using a Korean AI
semiconductor (NPU) from Telechips. This creates a hands-free patrol environment that
allows police officers to minimize operating a separate device while on patrol and focus on
road conditions. At IFA, the company demonstrates the automatic vehicle license plate
recognition process using actual driving footage.

□ K-AI Semiconductor Media Day revealed a wide range of cases where AI semiconductors
are used to go beyond simple computation and enable devices to perceive, judge and
control. From object tracking by drones to industrial AR glasses, autonomous smart-farm
robots, commercial cleaning robots and police smart helmets,
a diverse range of AI semiconductor applications tailored to the needs of each industry was
introduced.

Meanwhile, the “K-AI Semiconductor Pavilion” will operate in Berlin, Germany (Messe Berlin,
Hall 5.2b, Booth 400) from September 4 to 8. The pavilion will feature a total of six
companies, including the presenting companies plus CUCKOO Homesys’s “AI Barista Water
Purifier.” Visitors and global buyers can check the actual operation of AI semiconductors
through on-site demonstrations and explore business cooperation opportunities.
