SCHAUMBURG, IL — Pulse Technology (https://pulsetechnology.com), a seven-decade family business serving the IT, Managed Print Services, Audio-Visual and other technology needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, announced today that Carter Parks of West Dundee, IL, has joined the company as a Sales Development Representative.
In this role, he will focus his efforts initially on the audio-visual side of the company’s offerings, including speakers and signage. He will also help promote robotics, as well as printers and copiers.
The Oskaloosa, Iowa native is a graduate of Iowa State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in computer science. His initial experience post-graduation was selling phones for Verizon Wireless, including cell phones and accessories. After nearly a year, he and his girlfriend, Claire, made the decision to move from Iowa to Illinois.
In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, hunting and golf. He said, “I like to play golf as often as I can.” He is the youngest of four siblings, the others being Kevin, Beth and Molly; his parents Dennis and Mary have worked in education and nursing, respectively.
He said, “I am really looking forward to my work here at Pulse. I’m excited to be in this new market and looking forward to doing everything I can to help this company.”
