SCHAUMBURG, IL — Pulse Technology (https://pulsetechnology.com), a technology company serving the IT, Managed Print Services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, announced today that Andy Nielsen, Business Analyst, has been named to the coveted “Difference Maker” list by the national trade journal ENX Magazine (www.enxmag.com).
Each year, ENX Magazine solicits peer and industry recommendations for the people who are making a difference in the industry. The ENX annual “Difference Maker” list appears on the ENX website (www.enxmag.com) and is published in their May 2026 issue.
A 27-year company veteran at Pulse Technology, Nielsen oversees critical company functions including meter reading, customer contracts, customer history, and other reporting. It is a central function because the information provides account representatives with a clear picture of the client’s history when they are renewing contracts or seeking to expand services. At one time or other, his work has involved almost every one of the company’s clients.
He plays another key role too, running the company’s Culture Committee. The organization was formed to provide a vehicle for assessing and improving culture at the company. Some of the rationale of the committee is to provide a vehicle for employee suggestions and the occasional conflict resolution. But a large part of the work is planning activities that are morale-builders.
Erik Cagle, ENX editorial director, says, “The Difference Maker program brings together the best of the best from the dealer, manufacturer, distributor/supplier and software communities, along with other representatives who contribute to the industry.”
He continued, “We owe the success and notoriety of the Difference Maker recognition program to our readers. It’s the willingness of readers to invest time in painting a picture of the high-impact individuals in this industry that enables Difference Makers to carve out a niche. We are grateful for the efforts of our readers.”
Vince Miceli, Vice President of Technology Development at Pulse Technology, said, “Andy is a person who makes it his business to interact with as many employees as he can each day -asking how they are doing, what they need, and how the company can support them. He is a person who gets things done and has been an incremental part of our business for many years. We are proud of Andy’s work and efforts, and we also congratulate all the others who have been named Difference Makers.”
