TERAVARNA congratulates the talented artists selected as the cash prize winners of its recently completed 13th PORTRAIT juried art competition. The juried portrait art contest attracted submissions from 42 countries, and 489 artists has won a total prize pool of $1,150.00.
The first prize winner, Sofia Melissa Botter from Italy, earned top honors for her stunning artwork titled ‘My First Loss…,’ painted in oil.
Runner-up prize winner Hiske Tas Bain from Australia weaves her narrative in acrylic, an artwork titled ‘Gem.’
The Merit prize goes to Noelle Hampton of the USA for her satirical oil painting ‘Speak No Evil,’ while 25 deserving artists receive the Talent prize for their artistic discovery of cultural, social, sentimental, and impressive portraits.
Besides featuring the names on the Winners’ Gallery of TERAVARNA, the gallery organizes an immersive simulated showcase celebrating the winners of the 13th International Portrait Competition—a VR display of the award-winning works on portraiture.
