Stonewell Productions is stepping into a new electronic era with TS-Blast, the label’s new EDM project and DJ alter ego of producer Thomas Stonewell.

At a time when parts of the music industry appear to be pulling away from electronic production amid what Stonewell has described as a growing wave of “AI-phobia,” the producer is taking the opposite direction.
“We aren’t scared of the new era in music,” Stonewell says.
That attitude is now being translated directly onto the dance floor with Stonewell Productions’ first official dark phonk club mix, officially released through Ditto Music on 20 September 2026.

TS-Blast debut picture
The project marks a new milestone for Stonewell Productions. The 54-minute mix was built as a human-led production using an old-fashioned nonstop DJ approach: one continuous set, no breaks, and no interruption to the momentum. Every track used in the mix comes from music previously released by Stonewell Productions, reshaped into a darker and more club-focused format.
The result is deliberately straightforward in concept: 54 minutes of uninterrupted, danceable music — leaving only six minutes in the hour to get a drink.
TS-Blast is not intended to replace Stonewell’s existing work, but to open a new branch of it. As the producer’s DJ alter ego, the project gives Stonewell Productions a dedicated identity for club mixes, electronic experiments and harder late-night material.

The timing is also intentional. With Halloween approaching and the year-end party season not far behind, the dark phonk aesthetic arrives at a moment when heavier, cinematic electronic sounds naturally fit the atmosphere.
Will TS-Blast become a hit? That remains to be seen. But the aim is clear: create something built to be played loud, danced to without interruption and approached without fear of where modern production is heading next.
